I recently read You’ll Be Mine by Mandy Boerma, edited by Rachel Hauck, and loved it!

Cami Jackson, a commercial real estate agent, wants to buy the Pinewood Inn—the place where she spent precious days with her mom learning to paint. It’s also where her mom died despite Cami’s desperate attempts to save her with CPR. She wants to honor her mother’s memory and find peace with her past.

Ben Carter is not only Cami’s teen crush but also the grandson of the owners of Pinewood Inn. A successful hotel manager, he has now inherited the inn. After struggling with the decision to keep it or sell it, Cami convinces him to sell it to her, but the contract falls through because of Cami’s father’s opposition. Cami and Ben are then stuck dealing with the fallout and the growing feelings between them.

What I loved most about this book is how Many Boerma balances deep themes in a light-hearted way. The story tackles forgiveness, family legacy, and trust in God, but it never feels heavy or preachy.

If you’re looking for a contemporary romance with heart, humor, and characters you’ll care about, pick up You’ll Be Mine. Highly recommend. heart emoji.
